Russell Volksen is a photographer focusing on the American West, with an emphasis on the post-war landscape. He makes images seemingly of no consequence, but maybe are.  Currently he works to document the transformation of the American landscape into Data and Distribution Centers, Mix Use Retail, and new Infrastructure.   What is replaced and by what.  He has contributed to Investigations in Infrastructure published by Subjectively Objective and self published a collection of road side images entitled, Stop and Rest.

Also available for portraits, wedding, and event photography. Please see Portfolio page for examples of work.
